This program teaches the importance of languages and cultures that constitute the basis of a multicultural society, from the aspects of thought, cultural representation, media, and language. In addition to improving communication skills in Chinese, this program develops human resource personnel who can engage in cultural exchanges with other Asian countries.

The Human and Cultural Studies Program teaches the importance of languages and cultures that constitute the basis of a multicultural society, from the aspects of thought, religion, cultural representation, and media, through the study of the history of thought, religious studies, cultural research, history, etc.

As globalization expands, there will be more opportunities for people from diverse cultural backgrounds to meet and coexist within the same space. This necessitates substantial knowledge of each other’s cultures. In this program, students will explore different views on humans and cultural understanding, which is aimed at enriching coexistence by exploring this topic from the perspectives of thought, religion, cultural representation, media, and history.

The curriculum is designed for a comprehensive study of Asian and Japanese cultures as well. This program cultivates truly global human resource personnel who are sought after in a multicultural society, and who can understand their own cultures and draw comparisons.
